Join us at St Anne’s College in Oxford for the 5th ACST-2 Collaborators’ Meeting!
4th and 5th September 2017
In addition to an ACST-2 update, we have planned an exciting educational program at St Anne’s College and a Gala Dinner in the world-famous Divinity School.
Topics will include: Risk model for carotid strokes; Updates from German and Swedish vascular registries; Late-breaking results from the latest Oxford mega-trial; Stroke in the Global Burden of Disease study; Carotid disease and dementia; and all the latest developments in carotid stenting.
Keynote lectures will be delivered by Peter Rothwell and Richard Peto followed by dinner and prize giving at the Divinity School.
The Divinity School is the grandest room in the original Old Bodleian Library and was designed to impress. It is the University’s oldest teaching and examination room. Completed in 1488, this school is a masterpiece of English Gothic architecture with a magnificent stone carved ceiling.
Convocation House and Chancellor’s Court were added to the Divinity School in 1637 to provide a distinguished meeting place for the University’s supreme governing body.
It was also the Hogwarts Infirmary in several Harry Potter movies!
